Good Intentions

When I decided to "blog", I must have been in a creative mood. I had such good intentions, which is typical for me, but those went by the wayside along with other good intentions. In fact, blogging slipped my mind until a friend asked me for my blog address and I couldn't remember it. So sad! I, however figured it out and now with a feeling of great relief, I blog on.

Song Lyrics

As you can see by my blog title, Ain't Nobody Home But Me, I have this thing about song lyrics. That one pops in my head usually in the evening. I think it has something to do with loneliness. Yup, that's it, I'm sure it is. It doesn't pop in my head in the morning; that one is "Good Morning Sunshine". I like to have a positive start to my day. As the day progresses other lyrics seem to reveal themselves to me. "My Momma Done Told Me" happens to occur quite often. I guess my mom has taught me a lot. There must be a file marked "song lyrics" in my shrinking brain. I think it is taking over! Oh, by the way "Baby, It's Cold Outside"!

There Comes a Time

I really hate conflict. It's one of those things that can pop up unexpectantly and cause total chaos and pain. I try to avoid it, but "boom" sometimes it hits, and it hits hard. It can take over your mind and know matter how hard you try you can't just "kick it out". I'm trying though, and today will be a good day. Today, I will knit and blog.
